Born in Tahiti, she grew up in a close-knit family, and her parents taught her to surf at the age of two with her two sisters Heimiti and Kohai who are also surfers. In January 2018, she became junior world champion.
On June 6, 2023, she obtained her qualification for the Paris-2024 Olympic Games to surf on her spot - Teahupo'o in Tahiti.
